Clue Hunt and Blokarting
Camp
On Wednesday the 5th of March we went to camp. First we got picked for our car groups then we jumped in to the cars and took off. A few hours later we arrived at our activty which was a clue trail hunt then we got put in to our pastoral care groups. My group was Lewis, Kate,Riley and Lydia. Four groups had to go to the first activity and then the rest of the teams went to their activity. Our first activity was finding clues hidden around the Mount. Later on that day we did Blokarting. This is a land yaucht which has three wheels for on land and a sail which propels it in a direction. Blokarting was awesome and I would recommend it to anyone to give it a go. A few people blew over in the second group because they didn't let the sail go quick enough. But it is safe and you also have a seat belt on to keep you in cart. After Blokarting we went to the cabins where we given our bunk rooms and unpacked our bags and got ready for dinner. Awesome first day!

Mt Mauganui salt water hot pools
On our class camp 2014 we went to the Mt Mauganui salt water hot pools. It had a small slide a deep pool, spa, shallow pool and they were all really hot ( except the little pool) . It was salt water from the sea so it stung your eyes if you put your head under without goggles. We were all used to fresh water so it was a bit different. It was really fun and we all enjoyed it ( espeically bombing into the pool! )

Our school is amazing because everyone is friendly and kind to all the teachers and all students.
Our school is really sporty and we give everything a go, we have lots of sports teams like netball, basketball, rugby, soccer and hockey.
At our school we work together to make a good example for the younger students that have just started at our school
